Granola bought at the grocery stores are almost always full of sugar and preservatives....and they're expensive! I've created the easiest granola recipe EVER so you can make this at home and its ready to eat within 30 minutes. Whats even better, is you can customize it to incorporate what you like best!
4 cups oats
1 cup oat bran
1/3 cup olive oil/coconut oil
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut sugar/brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon cinnamon (or more to taste)
1 teaspoon Himalayan Sea Salt
1 package of mixed seeds, nuts and berries (I buy an organic, no salt added raw version)
Preheat oven to 325 and line a baking sheet or two with brown paper or foil.
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl (you may want to melt the coconut oil a bit if using) until everything is evenly blended.
Bake 20-30 minutes until brown and crispy.
Remove from oven and let it sit until cool, place into jars or containers and enjoy!
