5 MINUTE GUACAMOLE

January 27, 2017

Make this simple guacamole alongside my fresh pico de gallo and you've got an appi ready in 10 minutes!! No need to keep this recipe hidden beneath the snow - make this any time of year and you'll feel like you're basking in the warm Mexican sun.

Avocado's. Are they a fruit or vegetable? According to science, its a fruit. A single seeded berry - the mature ovary of a flower. Ummm, what?? Yep according to a super interesting article from The Huffington Post, avocados have more potassium than a banana...having an apple or an orange around can actually HELP ripen an avocado...they are one of only a few high-protein fruits...you don't have to ingest in order to reap their benefits, you can use them in your hair and skin as well (like this hair mask I use!)
