Avocado's. Are they a fruit or vegetable? According to science, its a fruit. A single seeded berry - the mature ovary of a flower. Ummm, what?? Yep according to a super interesting article from The Huffington Post, avocados have more potassium than a banana...having an apple or an orange around can actually HELP ripen an avocado...they are one of only a few high-protein fruits...you don't have to ingest in order to reap their benefits, you can use them in your hair and skin as well (like this hair mask I use!)

And for the recipe...
4 ripe avocados
1/2 red onion, finely diced
2 tomatoes, cored and diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp tabasco (or more if desired)
s+p to taste
Peel and mash avocado with a fork in a large bowl. Keep a bit chunky!
Add remaining ingredients and stir gently to combine.
Cover and keep in fridge until ready to use!
